Xamance is a French start-up founded by Thomas in 2004. It was created as a tool to help small businesses avoid wasting time with paperwork. Xambox automatically collects, sorts, files and secures all kinds of documents in the blink of an eye. It can also find online invoices from your service providers. Thomas Henry tells us more about his partnership with Orange.
We had a great product with huge potential. Not to mention, it was the only product of its kind on the market! But, we weren’t able to sell it to a wider audience. First, the cloud wasn’t yet accepted as a platform. Also, as a small French start-up, we didn’t have easy access to foreign markets.
The partnership with Orange was an amazing opportunity for us. We integrated the Orange Cloud API into our product. This allowed us to distribute Xambox to small business owners using cloud pro by Orange Business Services. Thanks to our partnership, we succeeded in reaching high sales volumes for the first time, something that has enabled us to break even and carry on our investments!
The second major opportunity was access to other markets within the Orange ecosystem. Our launch in Poland confirmed the strength of our partnership with Orange. The project took off in a new and ambitious context including a new version of the cloud pro API, as well as an international marketing plan. We were happy to meet our expectations related to deadlines and the quality of our results. It was a great experience working with Orange Partner’s technical and project teams for a second time.
The international phase has only just begun. We’re planning to roll out Xambox in 10 other countries in the coming 18 months. We can’t wait and we should have some very exciting announcements to make soon.
